Our
design strategy is to design all the necessary site preparations
needed to support the new landscape. Demolition details include:
all removal of concrete, structural materials, vegetation,
soil, as well as excavation work, grading and mounding. Utility
details include: all utility connections by type, source,
length and element serviced.
Our
design strategy is to include all the hardscape elements required
while conforming to the architectural style and color of the
residence and surrounding area. Details include: all concrete,
tile, rock, pavers, flagstone, walls, fences, gates, and paving
materials by color, style, finish, name, and dimensions. All
wooden structures, barbecues, firepits, fountains, pools,
spas and other elements by size, quantity and color.
Our design strategy is to please the eye and senses with a mixture of fragrance, color, balance and texture. We also design our softscape for privacy, softening of hardscape, managing space and wind/noise abatement. Plants are selected accoridng to the microclimate of the property and spaced by their mature height and width. Detail includes: all plants, trees, shrubs and turf by name-Latin and common, size, type, color, quantity and location.
Our Softscape Legends
are designed to provide the landscape contractor and client
with all the information necessary for selection, spacing,
planting and maintenance of all the trees, shrubs, ground
cover, vines and flowers in the plan. We also include the
page numbers from both the Sunset Western Garden Book and
California Gardener's Book for reference on proper care and
best companion plants for future considerations.
Our design strategy is to support all vegetation, reduce water run off/pollution, and conserve water through the use of drip, spray, controller technology, and analysis of the microclimate conditions of the property. Plan detail includes all sizes, type, location, and length of irrigation pipe. Also details by type, size, manufacturer, and model number of: irrigation valves, controllers, sprinkler heads, and emitters. Valve details by type, size, number and PSI.
Our design strategy is to turn our clients home into a moonlit paradise that provides safety for walkways and spectacular focal points of gardens, trees, architectural elements and water features. Details include: all lighting fixtures by manufacturer, model number, style, quantity, color, type, number of watts and location. Our design provisions lighting transformers to 80% or less for growth and lists the transformers by manufacturer, model number, location, type, and wattage. Wire runs from each transformer are listed by number of watts, fixtures, wire gauge and run length.
Our design strategy is to direct run off away from the structure and minimize erosion. Details include: property elevations, finish grades, and locations of all drains by type, size and color. Drainage pipe runs are listed by type, size and location. Percentages of slope by area of the property to drain outlet are all included.
All illustrative construction details as required for elevated hardscape elements such as retaining walls, wooden structures, gates, pilasters and built in barbecues. These details do not include stuructural design but are available for a separate price.
Our design strategy is to tie in all the colors, textures and architectural themes of the landscaping hardscape into the pool design and then optimize the surounding views for pool occupants. Details include: pool, spa, bond beam, infinity edge, water features and plant design. Also details on types and colors of coping, pool finishes, tile and lighting.
